Mr. Paulson's best ability in music is teaching piano. Mark teaches piano in his or his students' homes, primarily in Littleton, Colorado, and some surrounding communities. He also teaches online to students all over the world. For most of Mark's career, he has taught piano lessons in Northern New Jersey. Mark has taught over 82,000 private piano lessons during his career. Mark teaches adults and children at every level. Some of his students are just beginning, while others perform the highly advanced repertoire. Each student who studies with Mr. Paulson is taught differently. Mark does not use a piano method book to teach his students. He prefers to adapt his lessons to every individual's unique interests and needs. Each person learns the music that they want to play. Students desire to study with Mark for many years because of how he teaches. His approach has made him a highly respected teacher. Almost all his students come from referrals.
Teaching people to play the piano has never been Mark's only goal. Mr. Paulson has used piano lessons to help his students become better individuals in many ways when they are away from the piano. He considers himself blessed to share the gift of music with everyone he encounters.
Mark currently lives in Littleton, Colorado, with his wife, Sondra. They have three children: Marshall, Elliott, and Heidi.
